This past few weeks have been an incredible ride, filled with inspiring creatives and unique experiences in the best ways possible ! Sydney’s artistic community is thriving, and I’ve been lucky to be part of some truly special moments.
Hush Club & The Skazoodle Launch Event
On Friday, March 28, I had the pleasure of attending the third event by Sydney’s freshest underground experience—Hush Club, founded by the talented Katiana Silkiss. The night kicked off at Mixtape Brewery in Marrickville, where we strapped on silent disco headphones, grabbed our favorite drinks, and set off on a guided music journey through the streets. Katiana led the way, curating an all-Australian artist playlist that had us grooving through the night.
We danced in random parks, vibed at iconic spots, and eventually made our way to Studio Killa for the Skazoodle launch event. The best part? The artists we had been jamming to during the silent disco were the same ones performing that night! The energy in the room was unreal, packed with some of Sydney’s finest creatives, dope fashion, and an undeniable spirit of artistry.
The runway fashion show was a first for me—not only attending but actually walking in it! It was surreal stepping onto the runway and feeling the energy of the crowd. And to top it off, I got to perform at the Skazoodle launch, spinning beats that had the dance floor moving all night. Meeting new faces, sharing music, and experiencing the creative synergy of the city made it an unforgettable evening.
What I’ve Been Working On
I’ve been deep in the lab, cooking up multiple projects that I can’t wait to share with you all. Here’s what’s in the pipeline:
🎶 Beat Heads Beat Tape Vol. 1 – We’re putting the final touches on this all-Australian beatmaker compilation, getting it ready for cassette pressing. This project showcases some of Australia’s top-tier producers, and we’re even planning to drop some exclusive merch alongside the release. Stay tuned!
🔊 Clippings of the Mains – This is a collection of older beats that I’ve reworked and refined, a free beat tape that will be available on my website on the 15th of April . Think of it as a time capsule of past creativity, polished and ready for your ears.
📀 Hip-Hop Sampled Instrumental Album – This one’s a passion project, built from hundreds of wax records I’ve collected over the years. Some pulled straight from dusty crates, some hidden away in cupboards—but all packed with history and soul. The beats are raw, sample-heavy, and crafted with deep love for hip-hop culture. Expect announcements and drops soon!
